The Power of Choice

 There is always a choice to make. And it is in each choice
that we continually create ourselves and our lives.
What do you choose to think about? What do you choose to say to people? What
attitude do you choose to bring into work or into your relationships? How do you
choose to spend your spare time? What books and publications do you choose to
read? How do you choose to develop yourself? How do you choose to spend your
resources? What opportunities do you choose to seize?
Just as we receive thousands of messages each week, we are also faced with a
remarkable number of choices. We are making decisions on a constant basis in
terms of the thoughts we think, the words we say, and the directions we choose.
When you stop to think about it, the enormity of that freedom can almost be
overwhelming. Yet, it is in that freedom that we become powerful creators in our
lives.
In working with clients over a good many years, it is my sense that those who
understand and fully engage in conscious choice-making are able to create great
things for themselves. They are more engaged in the many facets of their lives
and they realize their potential by owning and utilizing this amazing freedom of
choice.
