Career Pathway #145:

Making a decision to commit time to planning and taking a trip is an investment in my physical, mental, and spiritual health. I know that it is one of the very best ways for me to take care of myself, to feed my energy and my imagination. Whatever it is that you need to do to rejuvenate is a worthy cause. It is much easier to "give" life to your work, family, and friends, when you are feeling alive and have energy to spare. So take some moments and pay attention to what may be calling you. Coaching Inquiries: What activities or spaces are calling to you? When is the last time you had a picnic and tossed a Frisbee? Sat in the stands and watched a baseball game while eating peanuts? Chomped on popcorn at the theater while taking in a good movie? Packed a good book and headed to the beach? Packed some snacks and water and headed out on the trail? Sat around the campfire enjoying the woods and stars? Have you convinced yourself that you're too busy to indulge a little--to live an energized life? What are three things that you can do this summer to take care of yourself? May you be filled with goodness, peace, and joy.
